The Serbian Orthodox Diocese of New Gracanica – Midwestern America invites you to celebrate the enduring legacy of St. Sava Monastery in Libertyville on Saturday, July 18, 2026.
Come together for a day of prayer, reflection, and fellowship as we honor Saint Mardarije of Libertyville and support the ongoing preservation of our historic landmark.
📅 Schedule of Events:
- 6:00 AM — Holy Procession 🚶♂️
- Start: New Gracanica Monastery (35240 W Grant Ave, Third Lake, IL 60046)
- We will walk in procession from New Gracanica to St. Sava Monastery.
- 9:30 AM — Hierarchical Divine Liturgy 🕊️
- Location: Saint Sava Monastery, in the outdoor pavilion (32377 N Milwaukee Ave, Libertyville, IL 60048).
- 11:30 AM — Fellowship & Celebration 🍽️
- Following the Liturgy, join us for food, refreshments, and community fellowship.
- Special recognition of our Seminary graduates and diploma presentations.
- A special presentation and update on the progress of the St. Mardarije Spiritual and Cultural Centerrenovation project.
